Our extensive ground based ADS-B network, combined with our newest data source - Satellite Based ADS-B ensure that our customers receive 100% global coverage. This translates into guaranteed responses from our TCP API server when a client application queries the server. In an off case where the server is unable to provide a response, the client is not charged any credits.
DATA SOURCES
ADS-B
ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast) contains flight information on all flights being received by all AirNav RadarBox units being used all over the world, where users have opted to share their received data.SCHE
Real-time departure/arrival information as provided by airports, airlines and aircraft operators.MLAT
Data from Multilateration calculations. Multilateration or MLAT is a navigation technique based on the measurement of the difference in distance to three stations at known locations by broadcast signals at known times.HF ADS-C
Position reports coming from HF ADS-C – High Frequency Data Link – a method by which air traffic controllers can communicate with pilots over a datalink system. Aircraft and ground stations make use of high-frequency radio waves in order to communicate.Merged
Contains data from all our available feeds organized and prioritized by relevance and accuracy.
FAA SWIM
FAA Radar data, received from the Federal Aviation Administration SWIM feed, derives from FAA radar systems and contains information on virtually all of the flights in the USA (including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Bermuda and Guam) and Canada. This data source includes not only real-time position data, but also flight plans, departures, arrivals, routes, waypoints, among other fields.OCEA
Data from major trans-oceanic routes / position reports. Atlantic and Pacific Oceans included. Other regions could also be displayed.SATELLITE ADS-C
Position reports coming from ADS-C - The signals are relayed by satellites.ESTI
Accurate Estimated flight position based on several criteria for when coverage for a specific aircraft is lost. The criteria is extremely strict and based on flight parameters and historical flight data.
Credit Based Pricing
The Credit-per-Result API is a volume based pricing model used by RadarBox, wherein
customers can
purchase monthly credits in large volumes based on projected monthly use.
With plans starting at 10,000 credits/month ($0.0120 per credit) to 5,000,000 credits/month

FAQS
How does the credit system work?
Consider an example of Customer A, who requires live flight data for his mobile app. He estimates his app will make 35,000 – 40,000 query calls to the server for flight data (position, altitude etc.) per month. Based on this assumption, he buys 50,000 credits for the month.
Now suppose for that month there is an increased demand for his app and a surge in the number of users. Consequently, the number of queries to the server will increase, say by an additional 20,000.
In such a case, Customer A can upgrade his plan or buy additional credits to cater to the increased demand. Once the demand has decreased, he can shift back on to a lower plan, if he wishes. What happens if a customer runs out of credits during the month?
If a customer runs out of credits mid-month, all query responses from the server to the client will stop. Customers need to purchase more monthly credits or upgrade to the next subscription plan to receive additional data from the server.
Can I change / upgrade their current plan during the month?
Absolutely. Upgrading to a higher plan is quick and simple. If a customer requires additional data during the month, they can either contact support or directly buy more credits via their business account RadarBox.com.Can credits be rolled over?
RadarBox currently doesn't allow for credits to be rolled over to the next month. Can RadarBox offer a demo of the service before I buy it?
RadarBox is happy to offer a customized demo of this service. Please contact: [email protected] with your requirements.
